A Wellness and Confidence Retreat for Women
The Wellness and Confidence Day Retreat
Five hours to reconnect, recharge and feel more like you. Life can be overwhelming. We spend so much time looking after others, meeting expectations and juggling responsibilities that we rarely make space to pause, reconnect with ourselves and rediscover what we really need.

A DAY FOR YOU
Five Hours to Reconnect, Day Retreat & Take Your Next Brave Step
The Wellness and Confidence Day retreat is a welcoming day created for women who want to step away from everyday pressures, recharge, reconnect with themselves and feel clearer and more confident about what comes next.
Through gentle movement, guided reflection, meaningful conversations and practical confidence-building activities, you’ll have space to relax, meet like-minded women and explore what matters to you — all in a warm, supportive setting beside Southport’s Marine Lake.
There’s no pressure to perform, share anything you’re not comfortable with, or have everything figured out. Just time for you, new connections and the chance to leave feeling refreshed, reassured and ready for what’s next.
Just come as you are.
YOUR DAY
A Gentle Journey of Connection, Confidence & Reflection
10:00–10:30
Welcome, Welcome Drink & Gift
Arrive, settle in and leave the outside world behind. Enjoy a welcome drink, meet the other women and receive your welcome gift. This is your time to slow down and start the day at your own pace and take in the lovely marine lake setting.
10:30–11:00
Welcome Circle
We’ll come together in a relaxed circle to introduce ourselves, connect and set an intention for the day.
You’ll have an opportunity to gently reflect on:
- How am I arriving today?
- How would I like to feel when I leave?
- What do I want to give myself permission to do today?
11:00–11:30
Move, Breathe & Day Retreat
A gentle facilitated session designed to help you switch off from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
Expect gentle movement, grounding, breathwork and a short guided reflection.
No fitness experience required.
11:30–12:00
Tea, Coffee & Connection
A chance to grab a drink, enjoy a little treat and get to know the women around you.
12:00–13:30
The Confidence Day Retreat
Our signature wellness and confidence-building workshop.
We’ll explore the things that can hold us back like self-doubt, fear of judgement and that critical voice in our heads and more importantly, we’ll look at the evidence that tells us we’re far more capable than we sometimes believe.
You’ll explore:
Your Inner Critic
What is it telling you?
Your Confidence Evidence
What have you already overcome, achieved and learned?
The 20% Question
What would you do if you trusted yourself just 20% more?
You’ll leave this session with practical reflections you can continue using long after the retreat.
1:30–2.15
Lunch
Enjoy a delicious lunch from our external caterers together with time to relax, chat and connect. Lunch will meet all dietary requirements and provide a healthy, tasty and nourishing treat!
We’ll also have some optional conversation prompts on the tables to help you move beyond the usual small talk.
Because sometimes the best part of a retreat is simply sitting around a table with women to connect, share and understand each other.
2:15–3:00
The Brave Step Challenge and Closing Circle
This is where reflection becomes action.
You’ll identify one thing you’ve been thinking about, putting off or perhaps telling yourself you’re not ready for.
Then we’ll ask:
What would your next brave step look like?
It doesn’t have to be huge.
It might be saying yes.
Saying no.
Starting something.
Speaking up.
Putting yourself forward.
Or simply deciding that you’re ready to believe in yourself a little more.
Closing Circle
You’ll have the opportunity to share one word or thought about what you’re taking away from the day.
We’ll celebrate the women you’ve met, the things you’ve recognised about yourself and the next steps you’re ready to take.
You’ll leave with your gift, your reflections, new connections, and one brave step to carry forward.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from an Alongside Ayo event?
Expect a warm, welcoming and judgement-free space where you can take some time for yourself, meet other women, reflect, share experiences and try something new. There’s no pressure to have all the answers or be anyone other than yourself.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! In fact, we’d encourage it. Many women attend events on their own, and creating a friendly, supportive space where everyone feels included is really important to us.
What if I don't know anyone?
That’s completely fine. You won’t be the only one. Our events are designed to help people feel comfortable and connected, whether they arrive with a friend or on their own.
What should I bring?
We’ll let you know if there’s anything specific you’ll need ahead of the event. Mostly, just bring yourself, an open mind and a willingness to get involved as much or as little as feels right for you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We know the British weather can be unpredictable, particularly during the winter months!
Our events will normally go ahead as planned unless weather conditions mean it would be unsafe or impractical to do so.
If the event is going ahead but you decide not to travel because of the weather, our usual cancellation and refund policy will apply, and refunds will not normally be available.
Your safety is important, so please always make your own judgement about travelling based on your circumstances and local conditions.
If we need to cancel or postpone an event because of severe weather, we’ll contact everyone who has booked as soon as possible and explain the options available, including refunds where applicable.
What if I can no longer attend?
We understand that plans sometimes change. As places are limited and costs are committed in advance, tickets are not normally refundable if you can no longer attend.
If you let us know in advance, we may be able to arrange a ticket transfer to someone else, subject to availability and the event’s booking conditions.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
What happens if Alongside Ayo cancels the event?
We hope this won’t happen, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control mean plans need to change. If we cancel an event, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and arrange a refund of your event ticket in line with your consumer rights.
If an event is postponed, we’ll explain the new arrangements and your available options.
Will photographs or videos be taken?
We may take photographs or short videos at some events to share what we’ve been up to. We’ll let you know beforehand, and if you’d prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please just tell us. We want everyone to feel comfortable.
What if I have accessibility requirements?
We want our events to be as welcoming and inclusive as possible. If you have any accessibility requirements or there’s anything that would help you feel more comfortable, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss what’s possible.
How can I contact you?
If you have any questions before booking, please email info@alongsideayo.com. We’re always happy to help.
